We've been to Taets Art & Event Park multiple times for all kinds of events—everything from food tastings and festivals to award ceremonies and conferences. We've seen it all happen there.

It's amazing that all of this can happen in a single location. But when we spoke with Sales Manager John Linssen, we realized we hadn't even seen half of the spaces yet! Bet you'll be just as excited about it!

Diversity with a Capital D

Located on the historic Hembrug grounds, Taets Art & Event Park sits on the edge of Amsterdam, offering the perfect blend of accessibility (by car, bus, and even private boat!) with the capacity to host events for anywhere from 20 to 15,000 people. “Good luck finding that kind of space within the city limits,” as John aptly puts it.

This industrial heritage site houses a variety of spaces, each with its own unique atmosphere—from raw factory halls to plug-and-play rooms, flexible outdoor areas, and fully equipped meeting rooms.

Will you join me for a walk-about?

We could write all sorts of things about it, but it's much better to just take a walk with John around the various buildings. We wrote along with his enthusiastic stories.

Building 41 | The Gallery

The chic light space with contemporary art is located directly on the North Sea Canal. The space is perfect for receptions and drinks, but also for dinners, networking meetings or meetings. Including a waterfront terrace. Nice!

Building 41 | The Theatre

The Theatre is the stately spacious room on the second floor of Pand 41. With its original stage, classic ceiling and antique wood floor, it retains the original style of the officers' quarters. Ideal for a plenary session of up to 350 people, a party or celebratory presentation.

Building 43 | Event Area

Event Area is a spectacular and elegant open space. The cast iron pillars, natural stone floor and wooden beamed ceiling create a unique industrial and chic ambiance. The space is the ideal event venue for meetings, product presentations, parties and atmospheric dinners. In addition, smaller fairs, exhibitions or fashion shows are also regularly held here.

Building 43 | Meeting Area

The Meeting Area consists of eight meeting rooms of varying capacities. The rooms are set up for meetings or breakout sessions but can be customized if desired. The meeting rooms are soundproofed, offer climate control, enjoy plenty of natural light and can also be totally darkened.

Hall 1 | Black Box

With 4,500 m2 of floor space, the Black Box is the largest space on the grounds. Multi-day exhibitions, large conferences, tech events, unforgettable staff parties and spectacular shows take place here.

Hall 1 | White Box

The White Box is a tall space suitable for gatherings from 250 to 2,000 people. Consider a plenary session with a subsequent food festival or combine the White Box with the surrounding outdoor space for various indoor and outdoor activities.

Hall 1 | The Glass Pavilion

In this iconic space, with three large trees growing right through the roof to the outside, create experiences not possible anywhere else. Ideally suited as a spectacular entrance, registration or checkroom space.

Building 408

Building 408, adjacent to Hall 1, is a long, expansive space with a beautiful glass roof. With wood floors, white walls and modern art, it is a bright and relaxing space. Frequently used as an artist foyer or crew space for an event at the Black Box. In addition, an independent entrance means it can also be used as a breakout room, catering or event space.

The Event garden

Amidst the historic buildings on the Hembrug grounds lies the Event Garden: The most beautiful outdoor location for summer drinks, lunch, a BBQ or a small food truck festival. The Event Garden is a sheltered garden surrounded by Building 41, Building 43 and the Walkway

Seeing is believing

And then last but not least, the Yada Yada . Divided into "The Cathedral" and the spacious "Marketplace," this former munitions factory is characterized by its old rusty structures and red bricks. A cool backdrop for conferences and a great space for a trade show or exhibition.

Actually, it's confirmation of what we're already saying... this venue can accommodate almost any type of event! "I recently walked in one day via a cheese fair in the Yada Yada to a board meeting in Pand 41 to then check out a conference in Pand 43. These all take place independently of each other, without any inconvenience to each other. Partly because of a strong team that makes sure everything runs like a well-oiled machine. That is what makes Taets such an incredibly beautiful place."

Of course, it is true of every location that a visit gives you the best idea of the possibilities. But at Taets Art & Event Park, this is extra true. Believe us; even after countless visits, we are still surprised. So call John for a viewing so you can experience it for yourself.
